So I am all grown up! Done with school for now... And am now across the country in a wonderful place called Bend, Or!!! It is beautiful here and the weather isn't too bad. I am so excited about trying something new. I am not gonna lie I set myself up for a challenge and I am a little scared but I realized that I had to do this. I am so so happy to finally be with Jarod and we are enjoying every minute together. Please pray for me as I am stepping out into the real world and working with troubled youth I am sure that they are in need of lots of prayers. I hope I can be of some help to these kids as they are trying to figure themselves out. I will miss all of my friends in the Midwest and am planning on visiting as much as I can.

Today I got some news that made me pretty sad. I didn't get accepted to the University of Oregon. I had a lot of plans for that state and that life. I am not scared though... just sad. I know and have confidence that things will work out for the best. I have faith :) But I can be sad...... so I will be..... but only for awhile.

Wow weeks are going by really fast.... I always hate this time of year. I hate cold weather, I never want to go outside, which makes me be in a bad mood. I love nature. Lately I have realized that children don't like the cold either, they have indoor recess and don't get to run around. This causes them to become angry with one another and mean. No really, I have had to talk with my first graders about being nice to one another. I told them that I would pull their card if I saw them being mean to each other. So tomorrow we are drawing names and writing a nice Valentines to each other. If you remember reading a book called "Somebody Loves you Mr. Hatch" it is about a grumpy man who thinks nobody likes him. Well he gets a bunch of Chocolates with a letter that says somebody loves you. Well anyway the weather needs to get better for the sake of everyone's happiness. Also when it gets nicer that means its closer to Spring Break and Oregon!!!!!!!!!
